ISO 9001 Certification to Ensure Quality and Reliability
ISO 9001: The ISO 9001 certification confirms that PegPack’s business processes comply with the highest international standards for quality management, ensuring that every operation is carried out in a controlled and traceable manner. ISO 9001 requires the entire organizational system to be customer-oriented, focused on operational efficiency, and committed to continuous improvement, in order to deliver consistently high-quality products and services. The ISO 9001 certificate is issued by an independent body following a thorough audit process that verifies the company’s full compliance with the standard’s requirements. The ISO 9001 mark is recognized worldwide and allows companies to stand out for their reliability and transparency, fostering strong relationships with clients and business partners both in Italy and abroad.
FITOK Certification for Safe Wooden Packaging
FITOK: FITOK certification confirms that the wooden packaging used complies with ISPM-15 FAO regulations, ensuring that all raw wood packaging is treated to prevent the spread of harmful organisms (such as fungi and insects). This treatment is crucial to avoid potential contamination with severe environmental impacts on global forest heritage. After treatment, the packaging is certified with the IPPC/FAO mark. The IPPC/FAO mark features the letters IPPC placed vertically and a stylized half ear of wheat on the left side, while the right side contains the identification code of the country, region, and company that performed the treatment. The FITOK mark is internationally recognized, allowing raw wood packaging to travel outside of Europe, passing through customs and destination ports seamlessly.
PegPack Mission 2025: Commitment to Environmental and Social Sustainability
PEFC Certification: Guarantee of Forest Sustainability A PEFC-certified forest adheres to international rules set by the non-profit association PEFC, along with forest owners, managers, environmental and consumer associations. Independent external auditors verify annually the application of these standards both in forests and in wood-processing companies, ensuring an eco-friendly and environmentally respectful product. Fundamental rules of PEFC certification include reforestation by planting new trees after logging, documenting the types of trees present through forest inventory, safeguarding threatened species and their habitats, protecting forests of historical and cultural value, and creating welcoming areas for visitors. These practices ensure the longevity of forests, allowing future generations to benefit from resources such as wood, paper, honey, berries, clean air, pure water, CO2 absorption, biodiversity conservation, and recreational spaces.
